‘DynamicsWorld’ Votes Senior Vice President to Number 5 Spot
IRVINE, Calif. – June 15, 2010 – Mike Gillis, Senior Vice President of Hitachi Consulting’s Microsoft Global Alliance, was named number five on this year’s DynamicsWorld Top 100 list of the most influential people in the Microsoft Dynamics arena. Gillis was voted to the top five spot by more than 10,000 voters who chose from more than 750 nominations.
Gillis earned his place on this list through innovation and achievement. His accomplishments at Hitachi Consulting include starting a new Microsoft Dynamics VAR [value-added reseller] and developing the Field Service industry solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX, and forming the largest partner channel in North America, Latin America and Europe. Over the years, Gillis has also worked on many Microsoft Dynamics AX engagements and participated on numerous Microsoft boards and councils.
“I’m extremely proud and honored to be named to the DynamicsWorld Top 100. It is an impressive group of people and DynamicsWorld is the center of a very energized and important community supporting all Dynamics products and people,” Gillis said.
Being named to this Top 100 list comes on the heels of Gillis’ honor last July when he was named to the Microsoft Hall of Fame and received the inaugural Eagle Award trophy. Under his leadership, Hitachi Consulting received the 2009 Microsoft Dynamics AX Partner of the Year award, while Hitachi Consulting customers took home five worldwide Microsoft customer excellence awards during 2009 and 2010.
