Hitachi Consulting UK Named as 2009 Microsoft Partner of the Year for SOA and Business Process

London, United Kingdom — 30 June, 2009 —Hitachi Consulting UK was named 2009 Microsoft Partner of the Year for SOA and Business Process, chosen out of an international field of nearly 2000 top Microsoft alliance partners delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.

The SOA and Business Process Partner of the Year award recognises systems integrators, solution and service providers, and software developers who concentrate on service-oriented architectures (SOAs), enterprise application integration (EAI), business-to-business (B2B) application integration, business process management (BPM), and adapter development using BizTalk Server. Hitachi Consulting, the global IT and services company of Hitachi, Ltd., demonstrated significant, quantifiable business value for its customers by using Microsoft technologies throughout the previous year.

With this award Microsoft has specifically recognised Hitachi Consulting UK’s skills in architecting, designing and constructing scalable and customised Enterprise Service Bus’ using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 for a number of the UK’s leading organisations, as well as its demonstrable ability to reduce implementation times and deliver measureable return on investment.
